When an unconscious infant presents at hospital following an accident or medical episode, the medical team needs to immediately gather all the necessary emergency equipment for a child of a particular weight and height. The colour coded cart using the Broselow method is organised so that each drawer contains all the resuscitation equipment needed for babies and infants/children in each specific height/weight range, making it faster, easier and safer for teams to access what they need in emergency situations when time is critically important to saving a child’s life.
