The Medela Symphony Breast pumps will be used by lactating mothers to stimulate breast milk supply and to express extra breast milk for babies to help them to thrive. This piece of equipment will ensure the health and wellbeing of infants in the community with long lasting benefits extending throughout childhood and beyond. As Gippsland's specialist referral and trauma centre, Latrobe Regional Hospital births just under 1000 babies each year. The facility is soon to complete a redevelopment which will increase capacity and subsequently the need for more Breast Pumps.
