The Medela Symphony Breast pumps will be used by lactating mothers to stimulate breast milk supply and to express extra breast milk for babies to help them to thrive. This piece of equipment will ensure the health and wellbeing of infants in the community with long lasting benefits extending throughout childhood and beyond. The Special Care Nursery at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital do not currently have enough breast pumps available to support mothers who need to express.
