The fully integrated Panda Warmer offers the latest technology to equip the hospital in meeting the current Neonatal Resuscitation Guidelines. Resuscitation is available when and where you need it. Newborns can be suctioned and receive oxygenated gas at safe pressures to initiate and stabilize breathing. Oxygen levels are monitored via the integrated Oximetry system. The in-bed scale immediately provides an accurate weight ensuring the right equipment and doses of medications and fluids are administered. During this critical event the innovative recessed heater keeps the baby warm and the caregiver cool.
Broome Special Care Nursery is a busy unit that admits many sick babies everyday. Broome Hospital is a located where it receives multiple transfers from across the Kimberley region. Broome SCN is currently a 3-cot Level 2 nursery, with progress underway to expand to a level 2B nursery.
