INTELLIVUE X3 PATIENT MONITORING SYSTEM, Auburn Hospital, Newborn Care, NSW
$13,010.00
The Intellivue X3 Patient Monitoring System is a specialised monitor that measures children and baby's heart rates, respirations and oxygen saturations. It is equipment that allows for quick and accurate recognition of deterioration which is vital. It alerts doctors and nurses to when patients require admission into intensive care. It is an essential part of monitoring of their health status and is key to efficient medical care.
Auburn District Hospital Newborn Care is a Level 2 Neonatal Service, caring for stable neonates who do not require full cardiorespiratory monitoring. However, there are neonates born at Auburn Hospital that require transfer to a higher-level facility for neonatal care, where unfortunately they do not currently have the funding for a cardiorespiratory monitor to provide complete monitoring prior to transfer.
