F&P 950 HUMIDIFIER, The Children's Hospital at Westmead, Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, NSW
Humidifiers are a vital part of ventilation support within Paediatric Intensive Care Units (PICUs). They provide heated and humidified air to support sick children, helping to make sure tiny lungs stay warm and do not dry out. Currently the hospital is equipped with ventilators to assist COVID-19 positive patients but lack the humidifiers necessary to provide complete care. Humpty has recently donated six units but due to increased demand the hospital needs additional units.
