CALESCA MILK WARMING DEVICE, John Hunter Children's Hospital, Paediatric Burns Clinic, NSW
$1,690.00
The Calesca is a waterless warming and thawing device that provides a safe and effective way to warm breastmilk/formula for newborns and babies in hospital. It avoids the use of steam sterilisers which may cause burns to babies, parents, carers and nursing staff.
This device will be used to heat up fluids used at the Paediatric Burns clinic at John Hunter Children's Hospital to pre-warm fluids used to change wounds and dressings in children with burn injuries in order to reduce significant discomfort and distress for the young patients.
