C3 Cyclists 2021
***COVID CAUSED THE 2021 TOUR TO BE POSTPONED TO 2023***
This year marks the 10th Anniversary since C3 Cyclists was created (2010). In 2021, C3 Cyclists are riding 690km (7700m elevation) from Newcastle to Bathurst, finishing at the iconic Mount Panorama.
This year we are aiming to raise $100,000 for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation. Through Humpty, we will be able to donate lifesaving medical equipment to Queanbeyan Hospital (Maternity), Bathurst Health Service (Emergency, Paediatrics), Orange Health Service (Special Care Nursery) and Cowra Health Service (Maternity) to help save kids lives!

It starts tomorrow!
Tuesday 14th Mar Having had good preparation with plenty of time on the bike for this ride, it was a bit of a shock to wake up to rain this morning. Given that this would allow the legs to have a nice easy spin before setting off tomorrow, I was looking forward to a nice relaxing ride (for a change) with a leisurely coffee stop to start the day. But, this is the nature of these things and we roll with what comes along. Having fine-tuned the bike last night (including a tyre change), tonight will consist of a couple of stretches and some rolling of the muscles to make sure they are ready for what comes over the next 5 days! Looking forward to catching up with a few riders tonight that I haven't seen in a couple of years and then getting a good nights sleep.

Thursday 2nd Mar This is my 4th tour with C3 Cyclists to raise money for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation. Unfortunately, preparing for these tours never gets easier, so I ramped up the training back in November to get this aging body fit enough to cover the 700km and nearly 8,000m of climbing. To ease the pain I have been consuming an unprecedented amount of coffee which seems to be helping...Thank you to my Sponsors
