Airservices Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Service’s (ARFFS)
stations in Melbourne & Sydney are working together to help raise much
needed funds for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation and change the lives of pre-term
babies and their families at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. Organised by Leading
Firefighters Baker Dawas, Kristin Alston and Lockie Saint-John - together, we
can make a difference.
Mission: To purchase the life saving
equipment ‘Intellivue MX450 Monitor with X3
Module and Enterprise Software’. For Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.
Goal: To raise $26,000
Objective: ARFFS raising funds on behalf of Humpty
Dumpty Foundation and donating life-saving equipment to Wagga Wagga Base
Hospital.
What is this Equipment? One of the most used
and common pieces of equipment used for sick and preterm babies. This equipment
enables monitoring of heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and oxygen levels.
Staff are alerted immediately when any of these vital signs change and this can
avert a potentially fatal event. The monitor comes with special Enterprise
Software Package allowing for advanced monitoring of multiple babies, and
better management of their patient records.
